This beautiful story also reminds me of another sci-fi love book, SUMMER OF THE GREEN STAR, from '81, which I also enjoyed, but the mood of this story is darker. It’s easier to transport, the perfect size- easy to carry. It seems to me that all people have one real story in life, a central theme, and different manifestations keep playing variations on this central theme. I can't wait to see who they find next and what role they will play on the New Council. My only small qualm with this book was that certain letters are only given one position while other letters may have four. When the Boxtrolls are targeted by villainous pest exterminator Archibald Snatcher, who is bent on eradicating them as his ticket to Cheesebridge society, the kindhearted band of tinkerers must turn to their adopted charge and adventurous rich girl Winnie to bridge two worlds amidst the winds of change - and cheese. I could not give it 5 stars because some a couple gaping plot holes and a huge factual error that drove me crazy every time I encountered it: Corvettes do NOT have backseats. Could anything be more enjoyable than eating home-cooked burgers surrounded by family and friends.
