I have listed the chapters below. There are lots of great reviews here that explain the plot very well, so I won't even go there. Lots of academic talk, comparison of studies, theories, etc, that might be off-putting to some readers. LOVED the author's willingness to write about the harder subjects within this thing called "FAITH"and God calling each of his children back to himself, reaching them right where they are Now. It's not just about something to "do it's about a way of living. It's only downside is that although not a long book, it becomes heavily dependent on statistics at times - causing some readers to lose interest. Nora Jennings is bored with her life in a small town so she quits her job as a photographer and buys a ticket to Kashmir but with one picture she sets herself on a course to be kidnapped. As the author of the Wikipedia Featured Article, "United States Senate election in California, 1950", I'm not unacquainted with the 1950 Senate race that Douglas is most famous for, against Nixon, and Denton's treatment of it is poor.
