Angel's Share is a memorable tale of a hero and heroine's journey through conflicts and grief to find a happy-ever-after. Political pressures led to Freire's brief imprisonment, following the military coup of 1964, and then to more than a decade and a half in exile. This book is a start in that direction. This book picks up right where the cliffhanger ending of the second book left off, with the group not victorious, and even worse the youngest member of their five-some has been snatched from their grasp by a giant dragon. What's more, this book is audacious and hilariously funny.
